According to TMZ sources she was discovered by her mother collapsed and unconcious in the shower. Wow, how terrifying that must have been for her to see her daughter daughter lying there lifeless. I can only imagine the agony and pain she must have endured. I have not lost a daughter, thank God, but I know what it's like to lose a loved one. You feel entirely empty, devoid of emotion and numbed by the passing of your nearest and dearest.
Apparently, when the paramedics arrived they determined that Brittany was in full cardiac arrest and immediately administered CPR. Unfortunately this was not successful and she was later pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical

It seemed like she had joined the band of size 0 celebrities. So was it anorexia that led to the heart attack? I dare say we will find out in the days and weeks to come.
Brittany is yet another celebrity who has lost their life so unexpectedly in 2009. I didn't think there would be any more shock announcements of death after Michael Jackson, that one really knocked me for six. But Brittany, sadly is another celebrity statistic of 2009. There have been quite a few, Farrah Fawcett, Edward Kennedy, Gene Barry, Jade Goody, Karl Malden, Natasha Richardson and Patrick Swayze. You just never know what's going to happen in life.
But back to Brittany Murphy, it's so sad to hear about such a bright, lively, full of life person dying so young.
